GAUSS Basic Project Certification

The emphasis is placed on the development of an administration and certification process which respects both the guidelines of the legislator regarding safety of the various traffic domains and the exigencies of the concessionaire in respect of the right to use and the protection against improper use of Galileo services.

In addition, the Basic Project combines the competences of the project partners into a range of services that include single modules or whole process chains for assessment and certification, competent technology consulting and specialised presentations.

In parallel with the proposition by the consortium of technology-orientated small and medium-sized companies and industry partners, a scientific complementary programme is in progress in which the scientific basic principles for the necessary certification process are being developed.
